Ihab I. Osman
Ihab I. Osman is General Manager of NADEC New Businesses, one of the largest vertically integrated dairy companies in the world with the mandate to make NADEC one of the leading diversified food security companies in the MENA area.
Ihab is also the Chairman of the U.S-Sudan Business Council in Washington and was previously the President & Chief Executive Officer of Sudatel Telecom Group, a leading African telecom group. Previous to that, he was in Private Equity at Kuwait Finance House (Bahrain).
Before to moving to the Africa & Middle East region, Ihab spent 7 years with Verizon Communications in the US and before that GE Power and IBM in New York City.
Ihab serves on a number of corporate and Nonprofit boards, including the United Nations Global Compact Business for Peace Steering committee in New York, The Oslo Peace Foundation, and The Khartoum Breast Cancer Center, he also founded the Impact Hub Khartoum.
Ihab holds a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University, a Master of Business Administration from Oxford University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the New York Institute of Technology. He lived in 5 countries and traveled to more than a 100.
