Amb. Dr. Kheireldin Abdellatif
Dr. Kheireldin Abdellatif Mohamed was Assistant Foreign Minister for Finance and Administration in (2006 -2010). As well, he was delegated to assume the Foreign Minister’s powers concerning the functional, financial and administrative affairs in 2006 till 2010.
In addition he was the Head of many action committees within the development and promotion system of performance level of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as the Committee of Developing the Institute for Diplomatic Studies and Peacekeeping Centre, The Committee of the committee of reviewing, drafting and finalizing the Law of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps members and The Judicial Committee.
According to the international experience he was Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to The Republic of India (2006 – 2010). As well Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Sultanate of Oman (1997 – 2001).
He also served in different Egyptian missions:
Doha (16/081991- 31/07/1994), Tehran (26/03/1991- 13/08/1991),
Moscow (01/10/1987-30/09/1990), Addis Ababa (02/09/1983-01/12/1985),
Kinshasa (01/11/1981-31/08/1983), London (01/09/1976 – 31/08/1980).
Dr. Kheireldin Abdellatif Mohamed is having a strong background in the development areas as in 2001 he was Assistant Foreign Minister and Director of the Institute for Diplomatic Studies and Director of The Cairo Center for Training on Conflict Resolution and Peace Keeping In Africa and in 1995 Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister for Legal Affairs and he used to be as well International Deputy Director of the Institute for Diplomatic Studies in 1994.
Dr. Kheireldin Abdellatif Mohamed used to be a member in (Egyptian Society of International Law, Law Alumni Association of Egypt, Institute for Diplomatic Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, and Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs).
About Dr. Kheireldin Abdellatif Mohamed Academic life, in 1972 he had B.A. in Economics and Political Science, Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University, then in 1985 M.A. in International law on “Human Rights” Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University, as well he had his PHD in International law on “Diplomatic Immunity “, Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University, in 1988.
