Global Entrepreneur: As President/ CEO of TTi Global, Lori Blaker oversees operations on five continents with offices spanning the globe including; USA, Australia, Canada, China, India, Thailand, Philippines Japan, Mexico, Peru, Venezuela, Brazil, Chile, South Africa, , UK and most recently Afghanistan.
With a staff of over 1500 employees in international operations, TTi Global offers a wide range of services, tailor made to drive business goals, including training design and development, business consulting, research, staffing, workforce development solutions. TTi Global provides these services to Automotive OEM’s dealer and retail networks around the globe.
In 2012, Lori was a part of the first ever US Department of Commerce trade mission to Afghanistan. Working with a small grant from USAID/ABADE (Assistance in Building Afghanistan by Developing Enterprises,) Blaker opened a retail Automotive Service Center and Training Center in Kabul with the goal of opening multiple facilities throughout Kabul and other major cities in Afghanistan. The center’s management is led by women, which is very unique in that market, and even more so for an automotive operation.
Past President of Metro Detroit Chapter of US National Committee for UN Women: Lori Blaker is a strong advocate of gender equality and the empowerment of women in the workplace. In the fall of 2013 Blaker launched the Metro Detroit Chapter of US National Committee for UN Women and is serving as the chapter’s first president. Under her leadership the chapter has worked to develop awareness on the issues of human trafficking.
Corporate Leadership and Recognition: Blaker was most recently named to the 2016 list of Crain’s 100 Most Influential Women. In 2015, Blaker was the recipient of the Jeffrey Berry Award from Walsh College and received “CEO of CEO” award presented by the BEST of #michbusiness.
TTi Global has consistently ranked among the “Top 25 Woman-Run Businesses in the USA” as recognized by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council. Lori Blaker has also received the “Enterprising Women of the Year Award” from the prestigious Enterprising Women magazine and has received the “Leader of Leaders” Leadership Award from Leadership Oakland. In 2008 she was named Entrepreneur of the Year” by Ernst & Young.
Personal History: Lori Blaker is the mother of four sons, and enjoys farm life and the outdoors when not traveling to visit TTi Global officess around the world.
